Don’t work from home; work from the heart. And deliver the work more than expected.
Yes, you got the opportunities to work from due to COVID-19. Many people got new opportunities, and so many people not adjusted themselves to this new work culture.
Last few days, I have a conversation with my work from home employees. Although all are interning, they did not set their timing to start and how to his / her day.
Please understand work from home as simple as working in an office. Follow the as-it rules and disciplines for yourself what was you followed in your office.
Some Rules and Discipline
Dress-up every day:
Many newbies intern or employees do not dress up every day, do not take it lightly, work from that means do not work like living in home styles; it will decrease your working efficiency, try 1 week to dress-up and then start work at your home. You can see your results and continue them for the next 30 days. It will become your habits, and once it will become your habits, your work efficiency increase automatically.
Pick up the Phone every time:
If your manager or senior calling you after office hours, it does not mean they will give you the next deadline. Receiving a phone call is a skill. It would be best if you inculcated it; it will boost you to the next level.
Take a break or Use the Pomodoro Technique:
Your manager or boss will never tell you about this. I take a break after every 3 hours for not more than 30 minutes. I talk to my Grandmother; She is 90 years old, 10, 20 minutes conversation with me, and gives me new energy. And some days I re-read my favorite book, but I never do amusement activity, but a lot of people do, might be your moods suit you, mine is not. According to your mood and nature, you can choose your activities.
Do not work the whole day or the whole night.
Try to complete your project within the given time to avoid working overtime; it kills your creativity and works efficiently.
